A Mission Rooted in Resilience

Hi! I’m Kaylee.

With over six years in the classroom and a year serving as an Instructional Coach, I have dedicated my career to the art of teaching and the science of learning.

As a Level 2 Licensed Educator in New Mexico, my background isn't just in delivering lessons—it’s in building master teachers and designing curricula that actually work. My time as an instructional coach gave me a "behind-the-curtain" view of how to troubleshoot learning gaps and mentor students (and parents!) toward true academic breakthroughs.

I bring that same high-level coaching and classroom expertise directly to your home, ensuring your child doesn't just keep up, but stands out.

The Journey to the High Desert

My path to founding High Desert Scholastic began across the map—from the evergreen forests of Washington State to the expansive plains of Texas, and finally, to the breathtaking landscapes of New Mexico. Along this journey, I witnessed a recurring theme in the lives of families: a growing sense of uncertainty within the traditional education system.

I’ve seen how easy it is for a student’s unique potential to be overshadowed by a system that is often struggling to provide the security and specialized attention our children deserve.

The Vision: Beyond the Books

I founded this consultancy to be a sanctuary from those worries. I believe that education should be more than just "meeting requirements"; it should be a hands-on, immersive experience that prepares a child for the real world.

At High Desert Scholastic, we don’t just teach subjects; we build citizens. My goal is for every student to leave our program with experiences they cannot find anywhere else—experiences that shape them into impactful, meaningful contributors to our society.

Kaylee’s attention to detail and commitment to our child truly stood out. We’ve already recommended her to others.
